Artists' Books Workshop
Personal Pockets Friday 24 September, 2-4.30pm
Creative Studio (£10, booking essential), Suitable for all ages
Join KALEID editions and artist Jonathan Ward to explore a variety of bookarts and binding techniques for editioning artists’ books. Ward's recent publication Little Wonder... plays with personal histories and snippets of childhood memories, using the book as an object for communication. Attendees will learn techniques to package and present narratives, bestowing each participant's personal photographic, written or drawn archives that they bring with them to the workshop and take away in book form at the end of the session.

Creative Studio (£10, booking essential), Suitable for all ages
Join KALEID editions and artist Nick Morley to make a fantastical and impromptu edition of artists’ books. Morley’s recent publication The Lion and The Ox and The Boar and The Bear plays on illustrations of animals and text from Aesop's fables. During this practical workshop attendees will design, carve, print and fold an edition to take away at the end of the session.
